Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 30 September 2026

This statement applies to the website at whoot.me, operated by Eager Lobster Ltd, trading as whoot. We want as many people as possible to be able to use it, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use.

The standard we work to

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. The site has not yet been independently audited, so we do not claim full conformance. The known gaps are listed below.

What you can do on this website

  • Use a “Skip to main content” link, the first item reached with the Tab key, to go past the navigation.
  • Reach every link and control with a keyboard alone. The item in focus is marked with a visible orange outline.
  • Choose a light or dark colour theme, or follow your device’s setting, from the control at the bottom of every page. Your choice is remembered on that device.
  • Turn on “reduce motion” in your operating system to stop moving and sliding animations. Content still appears, without the movement.
  • Navigate by headings and landmarks with a screen reader. Icons that carry meaning have text labels, and links that open a new tab say so.

Known limitations

  • Some pages, including the home page, pricing, features and the Martyn’s Law guide, are designed in a light colour scheme only and do not change when the dark theme is chosen. Your browser’s own high-contrast and forced-colour modes still apply to them.
  • Some older downloadable PDFs may not be fully tagged for screen readers. If you need one in another format, ask us using the details below.

Reporting a problem or asking for another format

If you find something on this website that you cannot use, or you need information in a different format such as large print, plain text or an audio description, email [email protected] or use our contact form. Tell us the page address and what went wrong, and we will reply with what we can do and when.

The whoot. apps and dashboard

This statement covers the public website. To report a problem with the whoot. dashboard or the iOS and Android apps, use the same contact details.
