Unlike scheduled video calls, whoot. rooms are always open. Think of them as rooms in a physical office — the engineering room, the standup room, the break room. People walk in, talk, and walk out. No calendar invite required.
Each room operates independently with its own settings, members, and add-on configuration. You can have as many rooms as your team needs.
To create a new room, navigate to your dashboard and click New Room. You'll need to provide:

Every room includes a built-in text chat. Use it to share links, paste code snippets, or have a side conversation without interrupting the voice discussion. Messages are persistent — they stay in the room for anyone to read later.
There is no limit on the number of rooms you can create. Your plan includes unlimited room access with recording, transcription, and dial-out available on every room. Usage of transcription and dial-out counts towards your team's pooled allowances.
